Quotes & Payment

  • Prices quoted for custom knife orders are an estimate only – while every attempt is made to maintain the quoted price, custom orders present their own individual challenges and therefore may be subject to a variation in final price

  • Final price may vary +/- (plus or minus) 15% of quoted price at the discretion of Cordina Customs – this will be discussed with the purchaser at the earliest known time throughout job progression and no later than final payment request

​​

  • Should the purchaser be dissatisfied with any price variation, a full-refund will be offered and the order cancelled – all materials, partially and fully completed knives will remain the property of Cordina Customs from this point

​​

  • Custom Orders are subject to 3 payment installments:

  1. 1st payment: 30% deposit for materials costs & job scheduling/commencement

  2. 2nd payment: 45% progress payment once blades are ready for final grinding & finishing

  3. 3rd payment: 25% final payment when job is finished and ready to ship

​​

  • Orders will not be shipped until final payment has been received

​​

  • Postage and Handling fees are payable by the customer and will be quoted in the invoice for final payment (unless stated otherwise)

​​

  • Custom Orders are subject to an estimated 2–3-month timeline from deposit payment clearance to ready for dispatch – our aim is to meet estimated timelines, however is not guaranteed

Warranty, Returns & Refunds

  • All work completed by Cordina Customs is warranted to be delivered as described in the job quote/invoice

  • All workmanship, parts and manufacturing processes are covered by a limited lifetime warranty, provided proper and reasonable use and care of the knife/knives and only extends to the product’s original purchaser

​​

  • Warranty does not cover damage, wear or loss of sharpness to the knife/knives incurred by general usage, chips in the knife blades, broken knife tips, discoloration from food or rust, sheaths, sayas or packaging

​​

  • Warranty claims are approved at the discretion of Cordina Customs

​​

  • Approved warranty claims will cover:

  1. Repair &/or replacement of parts, knives or manufacturing processes

  2. Full-Refund should the knife/knives not be delivered as described in the quote – refunds will be paid upon return of the knife/knives in original as-delivered condition. Should there be any signs of use or damage to the knife/knives, a portion of the refund may be withheld or the refund denied (and knife/knives returned to customer)

  • Used knives are non-refundable

​​

  • ‘Change-of-mind’ returns/refunds may be at accepted at the discretion of Cordina Customs and will incur a materials & manufacturing fee to cover costs, of up to 50% of final price

​​

  • Each knife comes with a free lifetime sharpening service – associated postage & handling fees are payable by the customer

​​

  • By submitting 1st payment, the customer thereby agrees to; all Terms & Conditions stated above, all Terms & Conditions are Non-Negotiable, all Terms & Conditions are at the sole discretion of Cordina Customs
